Beaufort, SC > Fernandina Beach, FL

We loved Beaufort! Especially loved the Spanish moss on the trees…until I found out that snakes like to hang out in Spanish moss..

We motored to Fernandina Beach using the Hydrovane self-steering system for the first time! We did have to resort to hand-steering when the wind shifted to a very light headwind, but even a few hours off the con was a game changer.

  1. So enjoyed your pictures and commentary.

  2. Hello! I’m not sure what year you have posted this, but I own a Creekmore 45 cutter and am presently sailing along the East Coast of the US and Bahamas. I have seen only 3 other Creekmores….Cheeseburger in Beaufort, NC….unknown named boat in Bequia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines….and another flush decked Creekmore in Beaufort, NC. I get a lot of comments about the boat and would love to find out where you are and our paths may cross! Would love to hear from you!
